Adam Grumbach, 2003 Liman Fellow, recently founded the small firm Lienhard & Grumbach PLLC, dedicated to fighting real estate fraud in Brooklyn and Queens. Read stories about his clients Janet Bruce and Ray Cortez.

Diane de Gramont, 2019 Liman Fellow and Attorney at the National Center for Youth Law, co-authored the op-ed "Afghan Children Are Suffering in the U.S. Immigration System" in TIME.

Natalia Friedlander, 2018 Liman Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Rhode Island Center for Justice, was the point person for the Center's advocacy around legislation eliminating court costs and fees for low-income Rhode Islanders.

Alison Hirschel, 1997 Liman Fellow and Director and Managing Attorney of the Michigan Elder Justice Initiative, recently published the article "The Use and Misuse of Guardianship by Hospitals and Nursing Homes" in the Syracuse Law Review.

Tom Jawetz, 2004 Liman Fellow, left his job as Deputy General Counsel of the Department of Homeland Security, where he handled immigration matters. After taking some time with his family, he is now consulting.

Shelby Henderson-Griffiths, Liman Center student and Yale Prison Education Initiative Fellow, published the op-ed "De Facto Disenfranchisement and Needed Change" in the Hartford Courant.

Elizabeth Simpson, 2010 Liman Fellow and Strategic Director and Attorney at Emancipate NC, represented Ashlee Inscoe, who is believed to be the first incarcerated person in North Carolina to undergo a surgery classified as gender affirming. Simpson continues to seek to have Inscoe transferred to a women's prison.

Emily Wang, Liman Center Affiliated Faculty, Professor in the Yale School of Medicine, and Director of the SEICHE Center for Health and Justice, was named a 2022 MacArthur Fellow.

Jessica Sager, 1999 Liman Fellow and Cofounder and CEO of All Our Kin, gave a brief talk on child care and its intersection with gender justice, racial justice, and economic development at the Aspen Institute.

Reginald Dwayne Betts, 2016 Liman Fellow, Senior Liman Scholar, and Clinical Lecturer in Law, reflected on the moment when he realized a prisoner could write poetry in Yale Alumni Magazine.
