January 2026 Tips and Reminders for IT Service Changes for Health Campus

Badge

If you have not replaced your badge since July 2, 2025, your current ID badge will stop working in campus buildings on Feb. 17. Pick up your new badge by Feb.16 at the Central ID Center, 55 Lock Street. Replacement badges are not available at Med ID office. Building access will resume within 15 minutes of your new card activation. Bring your current Yale ID, no appointment is needed. SOFTWARE SUPPORT
Box at Yale

As previously announced on Oct. 9, Yale will retire from the Box at Yale service in March 2026. Files in Box will be automatically moved to Yale Microsoft 365, school-by-school. YSPH and YSN have already migrated files and YH is currently in the process of migration. YSM migration will begin Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. EST and will continue until completed.  

HSIT xChange

The HSIT xChange series is a new hybrid forum launching March 6 at noon in The Anlyan Center (TAC) Auditorium. The goal is to ensure faculty and staff are informed, prepared, and heard about upcoming IT changes that could affect the health campus. The forum will provide space to ask questions, share feedback, and request future topics; host think tank discussions and lightning talks on what’s coming next. Your voice will shape the series and guide the content via surveys, polls, focus groups, and Q&A.
