Watch Feral Theatre's performance of "Last Dance"
On Sept. 7, the U.K.s Feral Theatre performed a specially commissioned work to a sold out audience in ISM's Miller Hall. Last Dance is the first in the yearlong series of events sponsored by ISM's Religion, Ecology and Expressive Culture Initiative. Watch the performance.

Call for proposals for Black Sacred Arts
The ISM has issued a call for proposals for its third annual conference in the Black Sacred Arts. "Ecologies, Environmentalisms, and the Black Sacred Arts” will be held in New Haven in May, 2024. Learn more.

From September 18-27, ISM director Martin Jean joined professors Henry Fairs (UK), Ja Kyung Oh (South Korea), Dong-ill Shin (South Korea) and Wolfgang Zerer (Germany) on the jury for the Second International Organ Competition of Korea. Read more.

Introducing the new Yale Schola Cantorum ensemble
The ISM is thrilled to welcome the new Yale Schola Cantorum for the 2023-24 academic year. The twenty-eight-member chamber choir is conducted by David Hill with Masaaki Suzuki as the principal guest conductor. Between now and April, there are multiple concerts planned in New Haven and New York, most of which are free and open to the public. Bach’s Mass in B Minor will be the final concert of the season and the culmination of the ISM’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Read more about the members and view upcoming concerts.
