ISM commits $12 million to YDS Living Village project
ISM director Martin Jean has announced a financial commitment of $12 million to the construction of the Living Village at Yale Divinity School. The Village will be the largest living-building residential complex on a university campus today and will include forty-nine separate apartments for Divinity and ISM students. Read more.
The Voxtet sings from rare manuscripts at Beinecke's 60th
The Yale Voxtet sang from manuscripts housed in Yale's collections at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library's recent 60th anniversary celebration. ISM alumna, new assistant director of music at Wells Cathedral
Congratulations to Carolyn Craig, M.M. ‘21, M.M.A. ’22 who has been appointed as the new assistant director of music at Wells Cathedral, beginning April 2024. Carolyn is a former organ scholar at Truro and Westminster Cathedrals and is currently organ scholar at Westminster Abbey. Read more.
Olson's new carol featured in Schola Christmas concert
Tawnie Olson A.D. ’00 says it was "a thrill" to hear Yale Schola Cantorum perform her carol I Saw a Stable in Woolsey Hall on Dec. 8 after being commissioned by Oxford University Press to compose a piece for the new Carols for Choirs 6 compiled by David Hill and Bob Chilcott.
