ISM students soon to embark on study trip to France

"Gabriel's Odyssey" by the Kukutana Ensemble

Performed on April 4, and founded by former ISM fellow, Dr. Janie Cole, the Kukutana Ensemble told the story a Beta Israel Ethiopian Jew, through an extraordinary musical narrative of slavery, conversion, persecution, and resilience in the 16th-century Indian Ocean World. Watch now.
