The School of Nursing and School of Medicine continue to leverage AnatomyX, an advanced holographic anatomy lab and learning platform, for more immersive health education. 113 YSM students have run over 322 simulation sessions already. YSN has primarily leveraged the technology with SIM lab faculty who are preparing for 120+ Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing (GEPN) program students to pilot the tools.

Health Sciences Analytics will be creating a centralized Health Sciences enterprise data warehouse and self-service support model that will incorporate Education, Faculty Affairs, Finance and Administration, practice, research administration, and department-specific metrics. An initial project roadmap is being created, informed by key themes identified during stakeholder interviews and guided by the Central Data Strategy roadmap.
Going the Extra Mile: On April 1, Health Sciences IT launched the Going the Extra Mile (GEM) award program to recognize exceptional service from our support staff serving AV and IT needs at the School of Medicine. Nearly two dozen GEM nominations have already been shared and the first award will be given in May.Master of Health Science Degree Welcomes New Students: The two-year professional degree program, offered through YSM's Office of Postgraduate Research Training, welcomed its inaugural class under its recently revamped program model, featuring increased course rigor and research project requirements.New Resources Enhancing Team Capabilities: Leena Kommawar and Vandana Bansal joined Health Sciences IT as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist for Application Services and a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Analytics, respectively.
